Lafe Locke was a freelance cartoonist for many years. His cartoons have appeared in more than sixty publications and in educational filmstrips, books and posters. He was the editorial cartoonist for the Maine Sunday Telegram for over sixteen years. His other occupations included newspaper reporter, magazine editor and creative director at several advertising agencies.
