Lauren Burke is an award-winning director and acting coach. She has had a passion for theatre and theatre education since a young age. As an actor, Lauren has performed in over thirty productions including Charlotte in Charlotte's Web, Peter in Peter Pan, Mother in A Christmas Story, Mother in Six Characters In Search of an Author and Essie in You Can't Take It With You.

After several years performing onstage in middle school, high school, college, community and professional productions, Lauren discovered her love for teaching theatre. She has worked in varying facets of theatre education, having directed numerous productions for the elementary, middle school and community demographics, from The Lion King to The Wizard of Oz.

In May 2009, Lauren directed an original piece for the Bucks County Secondary Drama Festival in New Hope, PA. Lauren and her students won Best Production, along with several individual acting awards. That play, And the Crew Plays On, has been published by Contemporary Drama Service. After successfully creating and transforming many school and community drama club programs, Lauren opened her own theatre studio in the hope of continuing to share her love of the stage with the next generation of actors.
