Cast: 11F, 7M
Time: 70 minutes, 2 acts

Want to stage a smash hit comedy? This is it! At the “Ladies of the Deep South” luncheon meeting, their guest of honor, Warren Burdett, suddenly drops dead. Did the pasta kill him? Was he murdered? Unable to decide what to do, the ladies try to hide the body. Non-stop hilarity begins as they try to keep the corpse out of sight from their unexpected guests. The victim was scheduled to be the Grand Marshall of the Founders Day parade so everyone comes searching for him – the mayor, the snoopy newspapers reporter, and his girlfriend. Was Burdett murdered for his grandfather’s secret diary? Did the diary reveal the shady dealings of everyone in town? This fast-paced farce is packed with suspense and laughter. Comedic characters, amusing scenes, and lots of stage action! Your audiences will love his show. Adaptable to dinner theatre.
