Chaos in Fairy Tale Forest

By: Geff Moyer

Age Level: Middle Grades to College
Cast: 7F, 5M, 3 F or M
Time: 40 minutes, 1 act

When Red Riding Hood trips over a root in the forest, she awakens to Hansel and Gretel raiding her food basket. They have finished off the gingerbread house and the Witch is after them. Robin Hood chases Bambi while he runs from Goldilocks because he killed one of her three bears. Snow White, the vain diva, says OMG! to everything until the Tin Man finds the Headless Horseman who sends her off screaming. Dumb Sheriff Ogre tries to club the "legend" characters because they don’t belong in "Fairy Tale Forest." The characters fight and insult each other. Then comes the White Rabbit, Alice, Rapunzel and the Prince in a crescendo of chaos until Red screams and all goes black. She reawakens. It was all just a dream – or was it? Lots of fun, easy-to-make costumes and props. A delightfully funny show for all ages.
